LGBTQ+ History Month

During our special Lower School assembly last week we began celebrating LGBTQ History month by sharing as a school what we already know.
Learners helped each other with their knowledge and experience of knowing people in the LGBTQ communities.
We shared our fantastic art creations with each other before announcing our learner of the week.
PC Reeves dropped in to visit our assembly and was so impressed with our learners knowledge and respect for the LGBTQ society. He will be working with our learners over the next few weeks to deliver fun activities about young peoples rights and self image.
This Friday we will be joining together to celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month by wearing bright and bold colours in school.
We can’t wait!
