External Leadership - Half term update

We are delighted to say that every single student in school has had the opportunity to engage in EL this term, and what a busy term it has been!
Here’s just a few things we have been up to…..
Water Based Activities
As the warm weather (hopefully) draws closer we have been preparing for our outdoor water activities by encouraging water confidence in the warmth of the indoor rolling pool. Students learned to capsize boats and exit safely and they were so brave, confident and amazing!
Climbing Wall
Many pupils had fun challenging themselves on the indoor climbing wall. They overcame their initial fears and trepidation to learn new skills and display great resilience.
Bushcraft
Bushcraft has been popular with pupils this year and we saw many of them lighting and maintaining their own fires and cooking tasty snacks on them…..yumm!!!
First Aid
Year 11s students are progressing well in their first aid training where students have engaged in role play and enhanced their skills.
