Visit to Mancott Zoo

At Bryn Tirion Hall School we value the unique experiences which learning beyond the classroom brings to our learners. We embrace opportunities to bring learning to life and to add realism and context to the subject areas we teach. We delight in the benefits this approach brings to our whole school community.

This Summer learners and staff from Dosbarth Glas visited Greenacres Animal Farm in Mancott where the group were treated to encounters, up close and from safe distances, with the range of animals living at the park. Donkeys, goats and alpacas roamed freely and our learners even got to hold, and pet, some of the parks smaller furry, and not so furry, friends. What a great way to see Science in action and to appreciate the value and benefits which we gain from sharing our world with animals.

A massive thank you goes out to the staff from the farm who worked patiently and professionally during the visit, ensuring that we had the very best day!
