Bryn Tirion Hall School - Classes of 2021

Date Published: 17/08/21

This year we said a fond farewell to our Y11 and Sixth Form learners who left Bryn Tirion Hall having completed their GCSEs.

They are now off to pastures new leaving us with a portfolio of great qualifications. In fact we are so proud of their results this year especially as they faced some unique challenges due to the uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus pandemic. They took on the challenges of isolating, home schooling, online lessons and independent learning, which we know has been difficult for them and their families, and we can honestly say that their resilience and attitude has been truly inspiring.

As examination results ‘landed’ last week we were delighted to see that these reflected their efforts and hard work, helping everyone to access the college placement they wanted.  Just take a look at our headline results and join us as we congratulate them and celebrate their success and achievement.

  • 100%  6th form leavers achieved their goal of improving their grades in English and Maths this year with Liam and Jack both achieving grade C in Maths and grade 4 in English
  • Congratulations to Kamile achieving grade 5 in iGCSE English as a second language
  • 100% year 11 leavers have been offered the college place of their choice
  • 100% achieved GCSE in Maths
  • 100% achieved GCSE in English
  • Congratulations to Jack achieving 5 GCSEs at grade C including Science and ICT
  • 57% year 11 leavers achieved 5 or more GCSEs (or equivalent) in total
  • 4  out of 5 learners achieved their college level 1 vocational qualification

We are so proud of all our year 11 and 6th form leavers. They all achieved qualifications and have all secured chosen next steps into college despite all of the challenges this past year has placed in their path. We wish them the best of luck!
